Upon receiving an application for a scholarship, the
Director in charge of processing will may 1 master copy of
the application. Then, all identifying information will be
redacted from the application and 5 additional copies will
be made on the redacted application. These redacted
applications will be sent to the 5 members of the Selection
Committee where they will be scored according to
predetermined criteria.
The scored packages will then be
returned to the Director where they will be entered and
ranked according to predetermined scales. Once the redacted
copies have been ranked, the Directors will then match those
with the original copies to find out who the scholarship
recipients are.
AT NO TIME will student information, Social Security
numbers, class rank, Student ID, grades or any other
personal information be made available to any person other
than the Director in charge of processing the applications.
All redacted copies will be destroyed and the originals
will be placed in sealed envelopes for future reference.
